Handmade Beaded art by Carter Watkins
This was the first ornament I made in 2019. Its for my 10 m/o daughter Winona. Her initials are “WMW”. I’ve wanted to make her something with her beautifully symmetrical initials since we came up with the name. This is the first of many. side note: one time someone gave us a monogrammed bib for Winona that read “WWM” - that may be the correct order for ‘traditional monograms’- but when you have ‘WMW’ you take advantage of the symmetry and break the fucking rule…c’mon.
I started beading these ornaments to decorate my own tree, and to use up some extra bead colors that I had laying around…and make a little extra money before christmas. I was thinking that it would be a pretty cool project to design an entire christmas tree for next year- but with a consistent color palette and different designs. email me if you are interested.
